Bayfront/Bayside Park Walk

This is more of a walk then a true hike, but "Jake" the dog needed a walk and thought it might be fun to see the planes land at SFO on a very windy, but clear day.

There are a couple parking lots along the way, but I parked at the end of Airport Blvd -- near Fishermans Park. This is located near the Embassy Suites in Burlingame.

The trail is fully paved and is open to all. It is part of the official "Bay Trail".

As you walk north you see the Airplanes landing at San Francisco International Airport -- otherwise known as "SFO".

Not a lot to offer other than views of the bay, the mudflats during low tide and the airplanes. It can be quite windy on this trail, but not too bad. The windsurfers launch from the a nearby landing.

At the north end of the trail, you will reach Millbrae Avenue. There is a small park with benches where you have best view of the Airport and planes taking off and landing.

While it was a very brief walk, Jake the dog enjoyed all "smells" of the bay!
